Limited 5-Year Consumer Warranty

This 5-Year “Warranty Term” limited consumer warranty applies to Marantz product purchases made from authorized Marantz dealers, like your’s truly, Value Electronics.

Warranty coverage extends to the original owner only for original product purchases, and the warranty is not transferable.  Except as specified below, this limited warranty covers parts and labor to correct defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Term. The following are not covered by the warranty:

  • Damage, deterioration, malfunction or failure to meet performance specifications resulting from:

    • Accident, acts of nature, misuse, abuse, neglect or unauthorized product modification.

    • Improper installation, removal or maintenance, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the

    • Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Marantz to repair the product.

    • Any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).

    • Any cause other than a product

  • Cleaning, initial set-up, check-ups with no defects found, or charges incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation.

  • Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

  • Accessories, including but not limited to, batteries, cables, mounting hardware and brackets, cleaning accessories, antenna and detachable power cords.

  • Warranty is void if purchase was made from anyone other than an authorized Marantz dealer.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser, not subsequent owners.

How you can get service:

  • If your unit needs service, contact D&M Holdings, Inc “Marantz” customer service by calling 800-654-6633. Marantz will advise you of the name and location of one or more authorized Marantz service stations where service can be obtained.

  • Marantz will pay for two-way shipping of products to and from a service center when the product is located within the United States or its territories. However, when a product is determined to have failed due to circumstances outside of warranty coverage, or when no fault is found, return shipping cost is the responsibility of the product owner.

  • When warranty service is required you must present the original dated sales receipt or other proof of date of purchase.
